Super Eagles CB Balogun among three Rangers players in Scottish Premiership TOTW

Leon Balogun has been recognized for his outstanding performance during Rangers' 4-0 hammering of Livingston on Saturday with football statistics website Whoscored naming him in the Scottish Premiership Team of the Week.
The Super Eagles central defender made his season debut against the West Lothian outfit, and helped the Light Blues keep their first clean sheet of the campaign.
Balogun and two other Rangers players were named in the ceremonial Best XI, the others being left-back Borna Barisic and striker Danilo.
Celtic, St. Mirren, Motherwell and Ross County are also represented in the Team of the Week.
Against Livingston, Balogun won a game-high seven aerial duels, was accurate in 80.6 percent of his passes, registered 84 touches.and did not give away any foul.
The 35-year-old made two tackles, a joint team high two interceptions and three clearances, while making 72 passes.
Of the thirty two players on parade at the Ibrox Stadium, only two players Borna Barisic (8.48) and Danilo (8.22) were rated higher than Balogun (7.67).
Balogun will be hoping to keep his place in the starting lineup in Rangers' Champions League third qualifying round clash with Swiss side Servette at the Stade de Genève (Lancy) on Tuesday evening.
