Wilfred Ndidi got a goal in Leicester City's win over Southampton in the Championship while Terem Moffi bagged a brace in Nice's 3-2 victory over PSG in a Ligue 1 game on Friday night.
The Super Eagles holding midfielder netted in the third added minute of the first half when he latched on to a pass from Stephy Mavididi and struck the ball into the net.
Jamie Vardy and Kasey McAteer had earlier given Leicester City a two-goal lead before Samuel Edozie pulled one back for the Saints.
Mavididi got Leicester's 4th goal of the encounter in the 67th minute.
Ndidi has now netted 3 goals in all competitions this season, which is the joint-highest he has scored for Leicester City in a single season.
For r Moffi, he got his first goal in the 21st minute when his deflected shot found the back of the net to give Nice the lead.
The Super Eagles striker also helped restore his side's lead after Kylian Mbappe leveled the scores for PSG as he assisted Gaetan Laborde for his goal in the 53rd minute.
Moffi compounded the defending champions' woes in the 69th minute when he fired a shot past Gianluigi Donarumma.
Mbappe will also imitate the Nigerian striker by scoring a brace as he scored the consolation goal for PSG three minutes before stoppage time.
The heroics of the 24-year-old tonight see him continue his good goalscoring record against PSG.
He has now netted 5 goals in 7 games against the French giants.
Moffi's brace tonight also takes his goal tally to 3 after 5 rounds of games in the Ligue 1.
