Destiny Udogie scored his first-ever Premier League on Sunday evening when he netted in Tottenham's 4-1 win over Newcastle United in a Premier League game played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
The Italian-Nigerian left-back opened the scoring in the 26th minute when Heung Min-Son played a pass into his path before slotting the ball home.
According to statisticians at OPTA, his goal meant Tottenham have scored the most opening goals in the Premier League this season and have also scored 10 consecutive opening goals, which is the longest in the club's history.
Spurs got their second through Richarlison who calmly dispatched the ball into an empty net seven minutes before halftime from Son's pass.
Right on the hour mark, Richarlison got his brace and Spurs' third of the game when he struck the ball into the top corner from a Pedro Porro cross.
Son put the icing on the cake for Ange Postecoglou's side in the 85th minute when he converted a penalty.
Newcastle reduced the deficit through Joelinton in the first minute added to the stoppage time
Not only was it Udogie's first Premier League goal for Spurs but also his first goal involvement since September 2.
The Super Eagles-eligible left-back has now made 14 appearances in the English top-flight and has 3 goal involvements (1 goal,, 2assists)
