Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that manager Jose Peseiro has announced his starting lineup for Saturday night's 2023 Africa Cup of Nations round of 16 fixture between Nigeria and Cameroon at the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny in Abidjan. 

The Portuguese football tactician has made four changes to the team that defeated Guinea-Bissau 1-0 as onetime Chelsea's longest-serving player Kenneth Omeruo, Joe Aribo, Bright Osayi-Samuel and Samuel Chukwueze have failed to crack the starting lineup. 

Former Arsenal U21 skipper Semi Ajayi is set to make his fourth consecutive start at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and he's part of a three-man defence featuring two other players trained by English clubs in William Troost-Ekong and Calvin Bassey. 

Arsenal's Hale End Academy product Alex Iwobi returns to the starting lineup after being used as a substitute in Nigeria's final group game against Guinea-Bissau. 

Joining Iwobi in a four-man midfield are Chelsea's Cobham product Ola Aina, Brentford ace Frank Onyeka and Porto star Zaidu Sanusi. 

Reigning African Footballer of the Year and Chelsea target Victor Osimhen starts in attack and is flanked by Moses Simon and Ademola Lookman.
