Andrea Ritorni, who is the agent of Fiorentina defender Michael Kayode, has confirmed that Premier League clubs have shown interest in the services of the Italian-Nigerian fullback.
Kayode has been one of the sensations in the Serie A this campaign starring in his preferred right-back position, starting 14 of the 17 league games he has played.
He netted his first goal in the Italian top flight in the Violets' 2-1 win over Lazio at the Stadio Artemio Franchi and was named in whoscored.com's team of the week.
The performance of the talented fullback has attracted the interest of Arsenal and other Premier League clubs which has now been confirmed by his agent.
Speaking to Radio FirenzeViola via Metro Sport, Ritorni confirmed interest in English clubs in Kayode but maintained that his client is committed to Fiorentina at the moment.
"Fiorentina need not worry. There is a contract that speaks for him: Michael is doing well with this club and in this team," Ritorni said.
"Of course, various Premier teams follow him and have followed him."
The young right-back has made 24 appearances across all competitions this term and has four goal involvements, three of which have come in the Serie A with the other being in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
He started his career with Juventus but it was at Serie D side Gozzano that he came into the limelight, helping the latter gain promotion to the Serie C in the 2020/ 2021 season.
The Italy-born defender joined Fiorentina as an academy player in 2021 and was promoted to the first team at the start of the season.
