Manchester United scout watches potential target Zirkzee in goalscoring action against Atalanta

Manchester United have reportedly run the rule on Dutch-Nigerian striker Joshua Zirkzee who is set to be one of most sought-after players in the summer.
According to Tuttosport, the representatives of the Old Trafford outfit were in attendance during Bologna's victory over Atalanta last weekend.
Zirkzee would get a goal in the encounter from the penalty spot, kickstarting Bologna's comeback, having been trailing earlier due to Ademola Lookman's effort.
Manchester United want to bolster their attacking options with the signing of a new central forward next summer and have set their sights on the former Bayern Munich striker.
However, they would have to beat competition from rivals, Tottenham and Arsenal as well as AC Milan who want him to replace the aging Olivier Giroud.
Undoubtedly, Zirkzee has become one of the best young strikers in Europe at the moment and it is no surprise that the heavyweights are ready to battle it out for his signature.
With 10 goals scored in the Seri A this campaign, he is the second youngest player in the division's top top scorers' chart, with Juventus-owned midfielder Matías Soulé being the youngest.
