Ayew brothers, West Ham's Kudus, Rangers' Diomande named in Ghana squad ahead of Nigeria friendly

The Ghana Football Association have announced the roster for the Black Stars upcoming friendlies against Nigeria and Uganda.
The friendly between the West African giants is scheduled to hold in Marrakech, Morocco on March 22.
Ghana boss Otto Addo has handed maiden call-ups to five new players including Rangers' Ivorian-born midfielder Diomande Mohammed, dual-national goalkeeper David Akologo, Nordsjaelland's Ibrahim Osman, Lorient's Nathaniel Adjei and Asante Kotoko's Frederick Asare.
The aforementioned players have earned their first call-ups to the Black Stars on the back of their outstanding performances for their respective clubs.
The 26-man roster is headlined by West Ham sensation Mohammed Kudus, who has been involved in 20 goals (15 goals, 5 assists across 36 games for West Ham this campaign.
Crystal Palace star Jordan Ayew and his brother Andre have also been summoned for the friendlies, along with Brighton & Hove defender Tariq Lamptey who is making a return to the squad after recovering from an injury that ruled him out of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Also making a return to the team are Patrick Kpozo (Banik Ostrava), Abdul Fatawu Issahaku (Leicester City), and Edmund Addo (Radnicki Nis)
Ghana will take on Uganda on March 26, four days after their showdown with the Super Eagles.
