'Fake news'- Report confirms Osimhen has zero percent chance of joining Galatasaray on full deal
Published: November 03, 2024
Reports linking Galatasaray to a permanent deal for Napoli loanee Victor Osimhen have been branded 'fake news'.
According to TEAMtalk, there is no chance that the Turkish giants will sign the Super Eagles forward on a permanent deal, implying that he would seek a move elsewhere upon the expiration of his loan term.
There have been reports of the 25-year-old leaving the RAMS Park in January, but he has confirmed that he wants to see out his loan deal, which must be a relief to the fans.
Osimhen is said to be eyeing a move to the Premier League, and that is a plug in the wheel for Galatasaray, were they to take him off Napoli books completely, besides his valuation.
Chelsea's interest in his services persists, but it remains to be seen if that won't fade if Nicolas Jackson keeps delivering the goods.
The Senegalese striker received a lot of sticks for his performances last season but looks reborn this term, registering six goals and three assists in 10 outings.
Regardless of whether Chelsea retain their interest in Osimhen next summer, the Nigeria international would not be short of suitors.
He has shown his ability to quickly adapt to a new environment with Galatasaray, averaging a goal or an assist in every game, and is undoubtedly one of the first names on Okan Buruk's team sheet.
