Tosin Adarabioyo has been recognized for his outstanding performance during Chelsea's 5-0 rout of Morecambe in the Emirates FA Cup, with football statistics website Whoscored naming the Nigerian central defender in its Team of the Round.
The former Manchester City youth team skipper scored his first career brace against the League Two opponents.
Tosin opened the scoring in the 40th minute with a long-range effort from outside the box after receiving a pass from Reece James.
His strike took a deflection off a Morecambe defender, wrongfooting goalkeeper Harry Burgoyne and finding the back of the net.
Tosin sealed his brace in the 70th minute with a stunning effort assisted by fellow London-born Nigerian player Tyrique George.
In a 3-4-3 formation, the 27-year-old was the top-rated defender in the Team of the Round, earning 9.57 for his efforts.
The Team of the Round is dominated by Manchester City who have contributed four players, namely Nico O'Reilly, James McAtee, Jérémy Doku and Jack Grealish, while Leicester City have two players in the shape of Wout Faes and James Justin.
Completing the Team of the Round are: Manchester United's Altay Bayındır, Southampton's Kamaldeen Sulemana, Brighton's Georginio Rutter and Bournemouth's Dango Ouattara.
Kamaldeen Sulemana represents Ghana's Black Stars at international level and Dango Ouattara is a Burkina Faso international.
Against Morecambe, Tosin won a game-high four aerial duels and registered 107 touches, more than any other player involved in Saturday's game at Stamford Bridge.
He totaled four shots with two on target and added to his defensive efforts with an interception, a block and a clearance.
