Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has been named in the Europa League Team of the League phase by Whoscored.com.
The football statistics website has compiled a Best XI, with the Nigeria international and his Galatasaray teammate Yunus Akgün making the cut.
Osimhen appeared in six matches during the league phase of the Europa League, registering six goal involvements while logging 514 minutes and picking up three yellow cards.
He was unavailable for selection against RFS and Malmo FF due to fitness concerns.
The former African Footballer of the Year provided an assist on matchday one against PAOK, before going on a four-game scoring run, netting a brace versus Tottenham Hotspur followed by goals against AZ Alkmaar, Dynamo Kyiv and Ajax Amsterdam.
In a 4-4-2 formation, Osimhen is partnered in attack by Ferencváros' Hungarian forward Barnabás Varga.
Martin Jedlička (Viktoria Plzeň) starts in goal with a back four consisting of Pedro Porro (Tottenham), Noussair Mazraoui (Manchester United), Panagiotis Retsos (Olympiakos) and Angeliño (Roma).
The midfielders are Ajax Amsterdam's Bertrand Traoré and Galatasaray's Yunus Akgün on the right and left respectively, with Lyon's Rayan Cherki and Bodø/Glimt's Patrick Berg the central midfielders.
Only Traoré (7.83) ranked higher than Osimhen (7.66) in the player ratings.
Throughout the league phase, the Super Eagles star recorded an average of seven shots, 0.8 key passes, one dribble and 0.3 tackles per game.
