Elerewe was at his best in the loss to Grimsby Town, posting a team-high three tackles, a game-high four interceptions and registered a team-high eight clearances.
He also showcased his aerial prowess by winning nine aerial duels, bettered only by Michael Cheek and Cameron McJannet.
Nine different teams have contributed players to the EFL Best XI, namely Burton Albion, Shrewsbury Town, Bromley, Cambridge United, Leeds United, Colchester United, AFC Wimbledon, Doncaster Rovers and Coventry City.
In a 3-4-3 formation, Elerewe is partnered in central defence by Josh Feeney (Shrewsbury) and Michael Morrison (Cambridge), and was awarded a rating of 8.41 for his efforts against Grimsby Town.
The Nigerian defender was absent from the Bromley squad in a 3-3 draw with Salford City on Tuesday, February 4.
