Super Falcons-eligible striker Chidimma Nwokedi has confirmed her move to Women's Super League champions Chelsea, announcing via social media that the transfer is complete.
The promising forward revealed she will be part of Chelsea Women's Academy inductees for the 2025-2026 season, marking a significant step in her budding career.
Chidimma Nwokedi has joined Chelsea's youth setup from the Cray Wanderers Women's academy.
"Grateful to be signing on for Chelsea u15s this year," Chidimma wrote on Instagram on Wednesday, July 23.
Last year, Cray Wanderers officially announced with pride that the prolific center forward of Nigerian descent had scored an astonishing 203 goals in just 62 appearances.
During the 2022-2023 campaign, Chidimma was also in sensational form, scoring 153 goals to help Cray Wanderers clinch both the Junior Premier League (JPL U12) title and the Tandridge League U13 crown.
The club hailed her as an exceptionally talented player with a bright future ahead.
In September 2024, Chidimma made headlines by netting a hat-trick for Cray Wanderers youth side in a cup clash against a formidable Division 1 boys' team.
The prolific attacker links up with Ashanti Akpan at the Chelsea academy.
