Exclusive: MOSES ADAMS Announces Westerlo Exit
Published: July 12, 2012
Former Nigeria youth-teamer Moses Adams, 23 , in an exclusive chat with allnigeriasoccer.com has announced his exit from Belgian club Westerlo.
At the end of last season, Westerlo lost their top flight status. Now, Adams, who has played five seasons with the Antwerp based club, says he won't be playing with them when the league resumes next month.
''They offered me a three - year contract, but I refused to sign. The fact is that I can't accept any contract from any club in Belgium that is more than one year,'' says Adams, who is now a free agent, to allnigeriasoccer.com.
He continued: ''It is time to move to another league. I have played more than a hundred games in Belgium's top division. At the moment, I am waiting for my manager. I am not renewing my contract with Westerlo.''
Adams is secretive about the clubs he is negotiating with, but has hinted he will continue plying his trade in Europe.
