JOSEPH YOBO To Miss Liberia Clash
Published: October 10, 2012
Nigeria gaffer Stephen Keshi could be without the services of Fenerbahce defender and skipper of the Super Eagles Joseph Yobo for Saturday's African Cup of Nations qualifiers against the Lone Stars of Liberia in Calabar, a team official has disclosed.
''Yobo is most likely to miss Saturday's game after he suffered a knee injury while in action for his club, Fenerbache.
"He has a less than 30 percent chance of playing against Liberia now,'' Ben Alaiya, press officer of the Super Eagles told the media.
Yobo, the National Team's most capped player ever, was unavailable for the Super Eagles games in June against Malawi, Namibia and Rwanda due to injury.
