Official: 'New Thierry Henry' CHUBA AKPOM Signs Pro Contract With Arsenal

Highly rated Anglo - Nigerian youngster Chuba Akpom has signed a professional contract with Arsenal, the official website of the English side reported on Wednesday.
The 17 - year -old striker , a regular for the Arsenal U21 squad, scored his first goal for the team in Monday night's 2-0 victory over Reading.
''Everyone at Arsenal would like to congratulate Chuba on his first professional contract and we look forward to his continued progression with the Club,'' Arsenal stated on its official website arsenal.co.uk.
Though eligible to play for Nigeria, Chuba Akpom has made 18 appearances in total for the England Youth Teams.
Because of similarities in playing style and technique, Akpom is being heralded in some quarters as the 'New Thierry Henry'.
