Exclusive: DANIEL CHIMA Extends Stay With Molde
Published: October 10, 2012
Speculations surrounding the future of in-form Nigerian forward Daniel Chima with Molde were laid to rest on Wednesday.
After days of waiting, the 21-year-old finally put pen to paper on a new two - year contract with the Norwegian champions.
Norwegian - Nigerian agent Atta Aneke has exclusively informed allnigeriasoccer.com that his client had suitors in the Tippeligaen and abroad, but chose to continue his career with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.
''Chima signed with Molde today. This is a club where he can develop further, and the coach Solskjaer has been very helpful. And that is why we took this decision for him to extend his stay. We had a couple of teams abroad that were watching him, and five teams in the Tippeligaen including Lillestrom wanted him,'' Atta Aneke told allnigeriasoccer.com in a telephone conversation.
The new contract will see Daniel Chima's stay at MFK extended until December 2015.
