JOHN OGU In Win Or Bust Game Against Viktoria Plzen
Published: November 22, 2012
John Ugochukwu Ogu has commented on Thursday's win or bust Europa League fixture against Czech side Viktoria PlzeÅ . Anything short of victory at the Estádio EFAPEL (Coimbra) will eliminate Ogu's Portuguese club from the competition.
''We are well prepared and will take this game more serious than other games due to its importance. We need to win and we believe this is possible.
''There are no easy teams in this tournament. Viktoria PlzeÅ is a great side, so is Académica. Against Atlético Madrid, we showed our credentials, so we are well prepared for the opposition,'' says Ogu to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Currently third in Group B, Académica have four points from four matches, five points behind joint table-toppers Viktoria PlzeÅ and Atlético Madrid.
