Done: Izu Azuka Loaned To CS Hammam-Lif
Published: February 28, 2013
Tunisian powerhouse Esperance have decided to loan the Nigeria international Izu Azuka to fellow Ligue 1 club CS Hammam-Lif.
The capital side have overshot the limit of foreign players in their squad. Thus, Azuka has been offloaded by Esperance to CS Hammam-Lif until the end of the season
''I’m on a six-month loan to CS Hammam-Lif and I have already played two matches for the team,.
''I could not join Esperance directly because of their foreign players’ quota which was already filled up.
''They had hoped to sell Ghanaian player Harrison Afful to a club in France recently, but it didn’t work out and so I had to go on loan,'' says Azuka to MTNFootball.com.
Recall that Azuka signed a three - and - a - half year contract with Esperance last December.
