Exclusive - Agent : Daniel Chima NOT Interested In Steaua Bucharest
Published: March 22, 2013
There are strong speculations in the Romania media linking Molde's Daniel Chima with a move to Steaua Bucharest in the summer transfer market.
This is not the first time the 21 - year - old attacker is being courted by the Romania powerhouse. Only last December, Gigi Becali, president of Steaua, openly expressed an interest in the player.
Becali has started making plans for summer reinforcements, and the number one name on the list of possible arrivals at the capital club is Daniel Chima.
Norwegian agent Atta Aneke has strongly hinted that the probability of Chima signing a contract with The Army Men is very minimal if not zero.
''Chima signing a contract with Steaua Bucharest is not a priority for him. He is playing for Molde, a very good club in Norway participating in the Champions League. The Tippeligaen just resumed and he wants to do well for his club.
''In addition, there has been no contact between Molde and Steaua for the player's services,'' says Atta Aneke to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Daniel Chima has a contract with Molde until December, 2015. This portal understands that he is being monitored by clubs in Germany. A move to the Bundesliga in the summer transfer market is high on his wish - list.
Should the Norwegian champions decide to sell their prized jewel, he could leave for a transfer fee of around two million euros.
