Rosenborg's John Chibuike Queried For Refusing To Warm Up

In one of the fourth round games in the Tippeligaen, Rosenborg midfielder John Chibuike, who has been battling with injuries since last year, refused to warm up and come on as a substitute against IK Start.
This did not go down well with RBK coach Per Joar Hansen, who invited Chibuike to his office on Monday morning, and issued him a written warning for gross insubordination.
''He "did a Carlos Tevez." It is completely unacceptable. I immediately gave notice that there would be consequences.
''He has been going on, and today he apologized tothe group of players,'' Per Joar Hansen told VG.no.
In recent matches, John Chibuike, who was a big hit in his first season with Rosenborg, has been relegated to the bench.
He has regretted his behavior on Friday and trained with the rest of the squad today.
''The session was positive. Sometimes it can not be taken out perceived as a big disappointment. It must be accepted, but you must manage disappointment into something positive.
''He did not, and he must learn and accept the consequences,'' said Hansen to the Norwegian newspaper.
John Chibuike's contract with the Scandinavian giants expires at the end of the 2014 season.
The Ex Enugu Rangers ace pockets 235,000 euros a year at RBK. He is being taxed 110,000 euros every year by the Norwegian authorities.
