Onyekachi Apam Placed On The Transfer Market

Nigeria international Onyekachi Apam has been declared surplus to requirement by Ligue 1 side Rennes.
In other words, the 26 - year - old defender has been placed on the transfer market, with his contract set to expire in June 2014.
The ex Enugu Rangers ace has been blighted by injuries since he joined Rennes in 2010 from OGC Nice, managing 23 appearances in the French top flight.
New Rennes gaffer Philippe Montanier has not fielded Onyekachi Apam in any of the build up games since the start of pre - season training.
Apam's last international game for the Super Eagles was against Democratic Republic of the Congo more than four years ago.
A move to one of the clubs in the English Premier League is being mooted for the versatile defender.
