500 Ibadan Fans For Akure To Cheer Shooting Stars

In an effort to salvage the precarious position of 3SC in Nigeria Premier League log and rally support for its week 30 match against Sunshine Stars billed for Akure Township stadium, 500 fans would be sponsored to the venue of the match to cheer Ibadan darling team to victory.
 
This was made possible by Caretaker Chairman of Ibadan Southwest Local government Hon. Taoheed Adeleke whom in conjunction with other 10 Local Government within Ibadan metropolis have hired many State own shuttle buses to convey interested fans free of charge to Akure on Sunday.   

Adeleke, while briefing newsmen in Ibadan said the 11 Local Governments situated within Ibadan and environ which he was their
Chairman have come together to henceforth look into how save the team from the relegation waters and they would start to demonstrate that from 3SC/Sunshine match.

''We can’t fold our arms and be looking at a team with high profile and rich history like Shooting Stars to be downgraded just like that.

''Apart from transporting fans to and fro, we are going to pay for the tickets of every fan that follow the vehicles to cheer 3SC.      

''We cannot undermine the role of supporter-ship in football and that was why we are not going to stop this gesture with Akure match alone but the rest of 3SC matches at both home and away,''Adeleke who had been a strong backer of the Oluyole Warrior this season noted.
