WORLD EXCLUSIVE: Middlesbrough Consider Loan Move For Chelsea Starlet Kenneth Omeruo
Published: October 06, 2013
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Championship outfit Middlesbrough have set the wheels in motion in their bid to sign Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo on loan.
With his track record in Holland with ADO Den Haag and for the National Team, the teenager had been expected to join one of the so called mid table Premier League clubs in the summer market but the move failed to materialize because of the shoulder surgery he underwent early August.
But the highly rated starlet is now close to full fitness and is desperate to leave Chelsea to enhance his chances of being named in Nigeria’s World Cup roster.
High level discussions are ongoing between representatives of Kenneth Omeruo and the Boro brass.
And the center back is keen on kickstarting his career in England at the Riverside Stadium.
Though other Championship clubs are interested in the ex Standard Liege man, Middlesbrough are runaway favorites for his signature and an announcement is expected to be made before the window shuts on November 4.
