Kenneth Omeruo, Tiago Ilori Nominated For Golden Boy AwardTurin based sports daily Tuttosport has announced the nominees of the 2013 Edition of the European Golden Boy, an award for the best footballer in Europe below 21 years.

30 respected journalists from Marca, The Times, Bild, L’Equipe, Tuttosport and  De Telegraaf will chose the most worthy player to succeed  Real Madrid youngster Isco.

Two Nigerian players were included in the shortlist announced on Friday.

Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo, who caught the eyes of many at the African Nations Cup, has been included in the list of players nominated for the prestigious award.

Also making the shortlist is Liverpool summer signing Tiago Ilori who has Nigeria heritage.
