Tobi Alabi Quits Football

Anglo - Nigerian attacker Tobi Alabi has been advised by medics to quit football due to medical reasons, the official website of Metropolitan Police FC, pitchero.com has reported.
The ex Millwall youth - teamer collapsed on the pitch in the recent friendly against Molesey FC and further tests have now revealed he can no longer play competitive football.
“I’m distraught to have to inform you that I will be forced to retire from playing football due to a heart condition. Inconsolable.
“I’m grateful for the experiences I’ve had, the wonderful people I’ve met & the life long friends I’ve made.
“Would like to thank all the coaches that coached and helped to develop my game. Would like to thank the fans of the clubs I have represented,” said Tobi Alabi.
19 - year - old Tobi Alabi made 16 appearances for Metropolitan Police in the ongoing 2013 - 2014 season.
