Emenike, Enyeama, Mikel Shortlisted For African Player Of The Year Award

Confederation of African Football ( CAF) has published on its official website, cafonline.com a list of 25 nominees for the 2013 African Footballer of the Year.
Among the candidates, it should be emphasized that five Nigerian players made the shortlist.
African Cup of Nations top scorer , Emmanuel Emenike, John Obi Mikel of Chelsea, Vincent Enyeama (Lille) , Ahmed Musa (CSKA Moscow) and Sunday Mba have been chosen as candidates for the most prestigious individual award in Africa.
The successor to reigning African Player of the year, Yaya Toure will be announced at the Glo-CAF Awards Gala scheduled for Thursday, January 9, 2014 in Lagos.
Rashidi Yekini, Emmanuel Amunike, Victor Ikpeba and Nwankwo Kanu had previously won the African Player of the year award.
