Juventus Defender Andrea Barzagli Ruled Out Of Friendly

Due to a muscular injury, Juventus defender Andrea Barzagli will not fly with the Italy squad to London for their exhibition games against African champions Nigeria on Monday, November 18.

The 32 - year - old could not complete the friendly with Germany on Friday after picking up the injury and had to be substituted in the 71st minute.

Andrea Barzagli , a center back, has made 46 appearances for the Azzurri since he made his debut in November 2004 against Finland.

He could recover before Juventus take on Livorno next weekend in the 13th round of matches in the Serie A.
