Published: January 01, 2014
Beitar Jerusalem have parted company with Nigerian midfielder Osa Ice-cream Guobadia.
Just four months ago, he put pen to paper on a one - year contract with the Israeli Premier League outfit.
But there was a release clause in the contract Guobadia signed with Beitar Jerusalem that permitted the club to shred the agreement binding both parties if he failed to impress the technical bench in the first half of the season.
Osa Guobadia recorded 8 appearances (5 starts) in the Israeli top division.
In the past, Guobadia , 26 , represented teams in Austria (SV Pasching, FC Wels, SC Schwanenstadt and ASV St. Marienkirchen) , Macedonia (Makedonija G.P.and FK Vardar).
