Lazio Striker Sani Emmanuel Receives Good News From Doctors
Lazio forward Sani Emmanuel has received good news from doctors in Paris over a heel tendon injury that could have been operated on. <br /><br />It was earlier feared that the Golden Ball winner at the 2009 Fifa Under 17 World Cup would have to undergo a surgical procedure but a scan now shows that the treatment should be conservative.<br /><br />“Another specialist did some scans and he found out the problem. I have already started the treatment and by next week I will start running.<br /><br />“There is a bone touching the Achilles tendon whenever I am running. <br /><br />“There is a machine the doctors are using to make it smooth and I am much better now,” says Sani Emmanuel to <b>allnigeriasoccer.com.</b><br /><br />The Nigeria youth - teamer is scheduled to return to Rome in the next 24 hours.<br /><br />Emmanuel, whose contract with the <i>Biancocelesti </i>expires in June 2014, has not played a single game this season as a result of the ailment.<br />
