Ahead of a potential move in the January transfer window, Sarpsborg 08 attacker Aaron Samuel says he is impressed with the facilities at Monaco.
Manager Claudio Ranieri will run the rule over the 19 - year - old until this weekend before making a decision on whether or not the Ligue 1 outfit will offer him a contract.
“They were all happy to see me when I started training on Monday. The atmosphere was wonderful and the club has excellent facilities.
“This would be a very good step for my career if I get signed on.
“Monaco are a progressive team, one of the traditional teams in France. It would be an honour to play here,” says Aaron Samuel to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Aaron Samuel’s performances for Sarpsborg 08 last season caught the attention of Monaco scouts.
His 6 goals in 15 Tippaeligaen matches were crucial as the modest outfit survived the drop via the play - offs.
