Tom Tomsk, Kuban Krasnodar And Krylia Sovetov Wanted Aalesunds Leke James

According to leaks gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com’s editorial staff, Aalesunds turned down requests from at least three teams in Russia who had the intention of signing Leke James in the winter transfer market.

In February, AaFK sold Leke James’s strike partner Abderrazak Hamdallah to Chinese team Guangzhou R&F to replace Super Eagles forward Yakubu Aiyegbeni who moved on to Al Rayyan.

And the Norwegian Premier League side were not willing to part with Leke James in order not to reduce their attacking options this coming season which begins next weekend.

Undisclosed bids from Tom Tomsk, Kuban Krasnodar and Krylia Sovetov Samara failed to tempt the leadership of Aalesund to do business with the interested suitors.

21 - year - old Leke James has spent the last two years at the Color Line Stadium.
