22 - year - old Michael Omoh is delighted to get off the mark for Swedish club Dalkurd in their 2 - 0 win over Nyköping in the second round of matches in the Division One Norra.
Another Nigerian, Chidi Omeje opened scoring for the Borlänge based outfit in the 10th minute, then Omoh added a second just before the interval.
“My expectation for this season is for Dalkurd to get promoted to the next league and I want to keep working hard for the team.
“The club’s ambition is to be promoted, because we were very close to promotion last season. My personal target is to keep on helping the team to get their target,” says Michael Omoh to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Former Nigeria youth - teamer Daniel Uchechi penned a short term contract with Dalkurd before the close of the window and he has quickly settled down with team thanks to the Nigerians at the club.
“I am really glad to have him here, a great guy on and off the pitch, and I have helped him the way I can to make him settle and feel at home
“Of course he is motivated to play, because he has suffered some injuries last season and did not have much playing time, so I think he is delighted to be playing again and working for the team,” he concluded.
Dalkurd at the moment occupy the second position in the third - tier with 4 points but they have played a game more than IFK Lulea and Valsta Syrianska.
