Nurudeen Orelesi Denies Reports He Has Extended Contract
Published: May 03, 2014
Skënderbeu Korçë midfielder Nurudeen Orelesi has distanced himself from reports that he has renewed his contract with the Albanian Superliga champions.
Just recently, Skënderbeu Korçë President, Ardian Takaj announced with pride that one of the most important players at the club has extended his contract.
“You’re telling me that the president has confirmed my position? I categorically deny that I am renewing the contract with Skënderbeu Korçë.
“Indeed, I can say that I have not spoken with any of the leaders for something like that.
“I’m surprised that the president has also spoken in terms of renewal, because I have not signed any new contract,” says Orelesi to the electronic edition of Panorama Sport.
“I left everything on hold, due to the fact that I have other offers from teams outside the Albanian championship.
“I need to first take some time and think about these preliminary bids and then decide what to do. ”
Injury has limited the former Flying Eagles fullback appearances in the championship to 16 games this season.
Orelesi, 25, comes off contract with Skënderbeu Korçë in the summer of 2015.
