Published: December 18, 2014
Contrary to circulating reports, Dolphins of Port Harcourt goal poacher Emem Eduok is nowhere near Tunisia after all.
It had earlier been reported that the Super Eagles invitee arrived Tunisia on Wednesday to pen a two - year deal with Esperance.
But Emem Eduok, who is holidaying in Uyo, was amused reading in the local media that he has agreed - in - principle to join the Africa powerhouse.
“Why are they writing such things? I am in Uyo and they said I’m in Tunisia. I’m not joining Esperance,” Emem Eduok told SL10.ng.
“It is true one of their representatives contacted me but I’m not interested in joining the club.”
It has been suggested by the website that he could be heading to Scandinavia, specifically Norway, in January.
