Emmanuel Emenike : I Am Not Selfish
Published: December 19, 2014
In an interview with Turkish media, Fenerbahce attacker Emmanuel Emenike has insisted that he is not after personal glory, saying that he would pass to teammates if they are in a better position to score.
Remember that the Nigeria international was recently criticized by the Yellow Canaries supremo Aziz Yildirim for wasting several chances when the Turkish champions faced off with Bursaspor last month.
“I have made a lot of assists in my career because I want the team to win every game each time. I always think of the happiness of the team.
“I love scoring goals but I also like to make assists. If I have a colleague in a better position to score, I always try to give him a pass.
“I am not trying to do selfishness and I am not a selfish player,” said Emmanuel Emenike to Haberturk newspaper.
