Vic Anichebe Showered With Praise From West Brom Manager Tony Pulis After Brace
Published: January 24, 2015
Victor Anichebe, 26, scored a first half brace as West Brom defeated neighbors Birmingham City to advance to the last 16 of the English FA Cup.
The physical striker was praised by the Baggies manager Tony Pulis after the 2 - 1 win over Birmingham City at St. Andrew’s Stadium .
Tony Pulis told wba.co.uk : “Victor’s ability has never been questioned. The big thing is keeping him fit. And if we got him to that level he’d be a handful. He was unplayable at times in the first half.
“We are coming in two thirds of the season so most of the work had been done with him but I would love to have Vic in pre-season because he is a handful.
“If you sit down and talk to him, he’s responsive. We have to get him fitter though.”
Victor Anichebe has 7 goals to his name in all competitions since he joined West Brom from Everton in the summer of 2013.
