Published: January 26, 2015
According to leaks gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com’s editorial staff, Super Eagles right back Francis Benjamin is attracting attention from Nigeria Professional Football League vice - champions Enyimba.
The two - time African champions are hoping the lure of playing in the Champions League will entice the defender to the Enyimba International Stadium.
But Enyimba have plenty of work to do, in that regard, as Heartland have opened a line of communication with Sweden champions Malmo over the acquisition of the Nigeria international.
It is understood that Francis Benjamin is expected to give a negative response to the People’s Elephant in favour of a move to Scandinavia.
The 21 - year - old suited up three times for Hapoel Tel Aviv in the Israeli Premier League before he was shown the exit door at the end of November last year.
