Osita Chikere Fails To Impress Sheriff Tiraspol
Published: January 29, 2015
Norwegians Viking were open to the idea of selling Osita Chikere in the winter transfer market to free up a space in the foreign quota.
The Tippeligaen side are in advanced talks with two other Nigerian offensive players, Suleiman Abdullahi and Samuel Adegbenro regarding a contract.
According to aftenbladet.no., it appears Chikere will not be offered a deal by Sheriff Tiraspol after undergoing trials with the Moldovan club this month.
If the 23 - year - old fails to sign for a new team in February and March, there is a possibility that he will remain with Viking beyond the end of the transfer window.
Osita Chikere is tied to Viking until December 31, 2016.
