Aston Villa Make Late Move For MK Dons Wonderkid Dele Alli
Published: January 30, 2015
Aston Villa are hoping to challenge Newcastle United for the signature of Dele Alli according to reports.
The Daily Mail is of the belief that Villa boss Paul Lambert is looking to swoop for the 18-year old MK Dons midfielder who has been heavily linked with a move to St James’ Park in the past week or so.
The Magpies have been in negotiations with the Dons regarding a £5million transfer fee for Alli before sending the England U19 international back to Milton Keynes for the remainder of the season.
However, Villa are trying to hijack the move ahead of Monday night’s closure of the winter transfer window.
