Exclusive : Enyimba Coach Kadiri Ikhana Authorizes Release Of Sibi Gwar For Snatching His Girlfriend
Published: February 27, 2015
According to leaks gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com’s editorial staff, former highest goalscorer in the Nigeria Professional Football League, Sibi Gwar, has been released by vice - champions Enyimba after a dispute with coach Kadiri Ikhana.
The experienced gaffer does not see eye to eye with Gwar after he accused him of snatching his girlfriend while both were at Kwara United.
And since Kadiri Ikhana returned to Aba in June last year to take over the managerial hotseat, Sibi Gwar has found first team opportunities difficult to come by.
Ahead of the start of the new season, the former Falcons coach has recommended to Enyimba to release the attacker.
This website understands that Gwar, who is in the possession of his clearance, is in advanced talks with an unnamed Premier League side.
Enyimba traveled by road to Benin Republic on Friday for the CAF Champions League preliminary round tie against Buffles du Bourgou in two days time.
