Kogi FA Announces Website Launch
Published: May 12, 2015
The Kogi State Football Association, a state body under the Nigeria
Football Federation, has launched its first ever official website
(www.Kogifa.com).
Secretary to the state FA, Mr Augustine Ogunmola, who announced this in a statement, enjoined the media and other stakeholders in football to visit the site regularly for the most current news on football activities in the state.
According to him, “the launch of the website was in partial fulfillment of the recent-elected executive board of Alhaji Umarr Sulieman Isah led Kogi State Football Association during their electioneering campaign.
“We believe doing this we help us connect the state with the international football community and as well emulate our parent association - the Nigeria Football Federation in promoting grassroots football in the country.
He further explained that all news stories and photographs on the Kogi FA, grassroots football activities and state-club teams will be put onto the www.kogifa.com.
“Also, please be informed that the Kogi state FA’s Twitter handle, @KogiFa is now active, and you can now follow us for the latest bits/happenings in the state football by liking our on Facebook page - Kogi Football Association.
“I have the directive of the leadership of Kogi Football Association to express appreciation to the NFF, the media, stakeholders for their support and encouragement in our activities generally over the years,” he concluded.
