Defender Faith Friday Obilor Opens Account For RoPS
Published: May 14, 2015
Faith Friday Obilor has opened his account for the new season, helping RoPS defeat KuPS 1 - 0 on match day seven in the Finnish top flight.
The defender’s 10th minute strike at Rovaniemen Keskuskenttä on Thursday evening means he will end this campaign with at least a goal for RoPS just as he did in three previous seasons.
The 24 - year - old lasted the distance against KuPS while compatriot Adeniyi Michael Ibiyomi was in action for the last 25 minutes.
Francis Chibuike , who was previously on the sidelines, made a cameo appearance for KuPS.
Thanks to the slender win, RoPS are fifth in the standings with 12 points in the kitty.
