Esperance Striker Emem Eduok Delighted With Brace Against Hearts of Oak
Published: May 17, 2015
Having failed to qualify for the group phase of the CAF Champions League, Esperance have set their sights on winning the Confederation Cup, according to Emem Eduok.
The former Flying Eagles striker netted either side of the half as The Blood and Gold thrashed Hearts of Oak 4 - 0 on Sunday, leaving the Ghanaian opponents with a mountain to climb in the second leg.
“We are taking this Confederation Cup seriously after we were knocked out of the Champions League. It was a good game, good because we won.
“We have to work more harder to see to it that we win in Ghana. I am dedicating these goals to my family and to my Pastor because they always pray for me,” says Emem Eduok to allnigeriasoccer.com.
The Nigeria B international has scored 8 goals in all competitions since he was unveiled by Esperance in the winter transfer market.
