Hungary Coach Pal Dardai Fancies Chances Against Nigeria
Published: June 05, 2015
Hungary National Team coach, Pál Dárdai, believes the Under 20 squad can qualify for the knock out rounds of the World Cup on the back of their performance against Brazil on Thursday morning.
Bernd Storck’s charges would have picked a point from the game if not for Andreas Pereira’s match - winner from the penalty spot four minutes from time.
“The squad had the opportunity to draw even when playing at a disadvantage. Against Nigeria the players will continue to fight, ” Pál Dárdai told the official website of the Hungary Federation.
“Nothing that I saw was negative and this remains the case against Nigeria. I liked our attitude, and it was good for the first match, I think the team is fine.”
On Friday morning, the Hungary U20s players that took part in the game against Brazil visited the gym while those that were not involved held a training session that lasted for an hour.
