Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Egyptian side Al’ Geish are closing in on a deal to sign Azeez Shobowale, 23, from Kano Pillars.
Several clubs in North Africa have made enquiries about his availability ahead of the opening of the summer transfer market.
But The Army’ s Vanguards are hoping to steal a march on their rivals, with the club offering him a three - year contract which the player’s intermediary is currently studying.
After the Ramadan in July, Shobowale and his representative will sit down at the table to discuss the pros and cons of accepting the offer from Al’ Geish.
Due to the attacking midfielder’s playing style, he is being touted as Messi of Kano Pillars.
