NFF Yet To Ratify Ike ThankGod Move To Abia Warriors
Published: June 19, 2015
Former Nigeria international Ike ThankGod has signed a contract with Nigeria Professional Football League side Abia Warriors until the end of this season.
However, it is confirmed that the defender will not make his debut for the Umuahia based side when they tackle Akwa United at home this weekend because his transfer has not been ratified by the Nigeria Football Federation.
“I signed a loan deal until the end of the season with Abia Warriors on Thursday. I am not registered yet so I won’t be able to play.
“Abia Warriors have always been the club I wanted to play for, even before I left for Oman .
“My target is to help the club get a continental ticket at the end of this season,” said Ike ThankGod to allnigeriasoccer.com.
The former Warri Wolves and Heartland stopper is currently in Owerri but will return to Umuahia early next week to resume training with his new employer.
