Nosa Igiebor Rated Highly In Maccabi Tel Aviv Win Vs Viktoria Plzen
Published: August 06, 2015
Nosa Igiebor was the second best player on the pitch on Wednesday in Maccabi Tel Aviv’s Champions League game against Viktoria Plzeň (2 - 0).
The Israeli press praised the Nigeria international in their match ratings, with leading website one.co.il awarding him a score of 7.5 marks out of ten, 1.5 marks less than Eran Zahavi, who was declared man of the match.
Igiebor was rated highly due to his attempts at goal and he contested for every ball despite given the freedom to attack instead of defensive responsibilities in his midfield role by new coach Slaviša Jokanoviä†.
“Was very active, trying to help in the attack, fought for every ball, and was responsible for two attempts, but kicked badly and missed twice in the frame,” the editors said about Nosa Igiebor.
