DONE DEAL : Hapoel Acre Strike Terms With Dominion Hotspur Striker Samuel Gilmore
Published: August 12, 2015
Israeli Premier League side Hapoel Acre have snapped up Nigerian striker Samuel Gilmore on a one - year deal.
The 19 - year - old was offered a contract by the Municipal Stadium outfit after impressing manager Yaron Hochenboim during trials.
Gilmore started the Toto Cup clash against Bnei Sakhnin and also lasted the distance in Tuesday evening’s 3 - 0 loss to Maccabi Haifa in the competition.
The youngster previously tried his luck at Beitar Jerusalem but it did not lead to the offer of a contract.
Samuel Gilmore is a product of Dominion Hotspur, the same nursery team that produced ex Maccabi Tel Aviv striker Kehinde Olanrewaju.
Indeed, he was recommended to Hapoel Acre by Kehinde Olanrewaju, who told the club that he is the hottest prospect from his grassroots team.
