Kehinde Olanrewaju Reveals Why Proposed Move To Mouscron-Peruwelz Collapsed
Published: August 14, 2015
Kehinde Olanrewaju was linked to a switch to Mouscron-Péruwelz in the ongoing summer transfer market before he completed his move to Israeli Premier League newcomers Hapoel Kfar Saba F.C.
The Dominion Hotspur product has claimed that his transfer to the Belgian Pro League side fell through because he had difficulties obtaining a visa to Belgium.
“There were problems with the visa. I do not want to talk much about it,” said Kehinde Olanrewaju to one.co.il.
“It did not work out, but I realized I needed to play and people in Israel know who I am. It did not work out there and I had to keep going.”
In all competitions last season, Kehinde Olanrewaju scored 29 goals, including 20 in the Liga Leumit.
He trained with Nigeria’s Under 23 national team in June, scoring a brace in a test game against Candy FC.
