Rumours That Anzhi Makhachkala Midfielder Lukman Haruna Is Injured Shot Down
Published: August 18, 2015
Lukman Haruna did not feature for Anzhi Makhachkala in their last game in the Russian Premier League, fueling speculation that he may still be carrying a knock.
The Nigeria national teamer asked to be replaced immediately after the intermission in Anzhi Makhachkala’s 3- 2 loss to Dinamo Moscow in the Premier League on August 8 after picking up a thigh injury.
However, a source close to Haruna has informed this website that the central midfielder has resumed training with Anzhi and he is fit enough to resume first team duties when they tackle Ural on Saturday.
“Haruna is fine, it is a non - issue. He is back training with Anzhi Makhachkala and should play this weekend if he is chosen by the coach, ” the source told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Lukman Haruna has started every single game contested by Anhzi in the RPL except last weekend’s clash against Amkar Perm.
